Dave Shimberg

David Shimberg brings a wealth of leadership and operational experience to Holy Covenant’s Greeters & Ushers Ministry Team. A retired Certified Business Continuity Professional (MBCI, CBCP), David spent his career designing and testing systems to ensure stability in times of disruption — a skillset that now helps keep our campus safe, functional, and future-ready. He was active member of the South Park Lions Club and a Past District Governor with Lions International, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and community care. With a practical eye and a servant’s heart, David leads with both precision and compassion.

Married to Pam, a retired social worker, for over 54 years, the Shimbergs have 2 sons, both are first responders in Charlotte and Mint Hill.
