Looking for meaningful Sunday morning conversation and community? The Sojourners invite you to join us this Sunday for an engaging and grace-filled discussion as we continue our spring series.
This Sunday, July 13, the Sojourner’s will read and discuss Chapters 29 – 32 of Grace Will Lead Us Home: The Charleston Church Massacre and the Hard, Inspiring Journey to Forgiveness by Jennifer Berry Hawes — one of this season’s Read. Reflect. Renew. book recommendations at Holy Covenant. We’ll discuss on Chapter 33 – Epilogue on July 20.
Then, we’ll take two weeks off, July 27 and August 3. When we return on August 10, Jay Whitley will lead us in a study of the minor prophets Amos, Hosea, Micah, Joel, and Jonah. We will read From Judgment to Hope: A Study on the Prophets by Walter Brueggemann, a UCC author and theologian, and you can find this book on Amazon $11.32 for paperback and $8.80 for Kindle. Thriftbooks.com also has it from $9.29 for “good,” $10.69 for “like new,” and $14.49 for “new.”
All are welcome, and hope to see you for some stimulating discussion—no preparation needed.

You’re invited to join us for a meaningful and hands-on service opportunity as we assemble 100 bagged lunches for the Giles Center, a men’s shelter affiliated with A Roof Above.
No experience needed — just your willing spirit and a few extra minutes after worship! These lunches offer more than nourishment — they offer dignity, care, and a reminder that our neighbors are not forgotten.
Let’s work together to feed the body and lift the spirit. One sandwich at a time. 💛
