I am thrilled to share some exciting news, our church is in the process of launching a newly redesigned website, thanks to a generous donation we received earlier this year! Our Communications Team has been hard at work leading this project, ensuring that our new website is not only visually appealing but also more accessible, user-friendly, and reflective of our vibrant and welcoming community.

 The redesigned website will feature clearer navigation, updated content, and a fresh look that embodies our mission of radical inclusivity and love. Whether you’re a longtime member or someone seeking a progressive Christian community, our website will make it easier than ever to find worship service details, more about who we are, explore upcoming events, and connect with the many ministries and outreach efforts that make Holy Covenant such a special place.

 One of the most exciting updates is our strengthened connection to the United Church of Christ. From the moment you land on our homepage, you’ll see our UCC identity shining through. The website will now include more information about our denomination, along with automatically updated UCC news and daily devotionals. This means fresh, meaningful content is constantly being pushed to our website, helping us stay connected not just as a local church but as part of a wider movement for justice, inclusion, and faith in action.

 We’re also introducing a more dynamic events calendar, where each listing will be individually customized with descriptions, dates, times, and locations, so you’ll always know what’s happening. Missed a newsletter? No problem! They’ll be easy to find in an organized archive. We’re also enhancing our photo gallery, offering a beautiful glimpse into our shared life together, our celebrations, service projects, and sacred moments. And for those joining us online, our worship page will be designed for seamless access to live-streamed services, past sermons, and full worship recordings.

 While we don’t have an official launch date yet, I’ve already had a sneak peek at what’s coming and I can tell you, it’s going to be a game-changer for how we share our story and welcome new people into our community. Once the site goes live, we’ll continue to build on its foundation, rolling out new features and tools that will make it even more engaging and valuable.

 Since my time at Holy Covenant, we’ve welcomed many new visitors and over two dozen new members, many of whom first connected with us through our current website. With this new, thoughtfully designed site, I can’t help but wonder: Who will discover us next? Who will find a spiritual home here because they saw a reflection of themselves, of their values, their hopes, their faith, on our website?

 I invite you to pray with me that this new website will be more than just a tool for information, but an open door to all who seek a community like ours. May it be a beacon of love and justice, a digital extension of the warm welcome we offer every Sunday.

Holy Covenant,

Last Sunday, on Transfiguration Sunday, we had the joy of welcoming nine new members into our church family. It was a sacred and celebratory moment, one that reflects the growing, vibrant spirit of our community. Every new member is a reminder that God is still at work, drawing people from all walks of life together through love, justice, and radical welcome.

As we continue this journey together, may we rejoice in the ways God is moving among us, and may we always be a church where all are truly welcome.
